Job Title:  Senior Coordinator, Patient Support Services - The Woodlands

Salary Range:  $43,065 - $50,665
FLSA Status:  Nonexempt
Work Schedule:  Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Summary

The Senior Coordinator, Patient Support Services is responsible for supporting clinical operations by coordinating patient appointments, managing referrals, assisting with clinical logistics, and providing administrative support to physicians. This role plays a key part in ensuring an efficient and patient-centered experience within a high-touch clinical environment. 

 

This position also plays a key role in supporting Baylor' s Concierge and Executive Health programs. In addition to traditional scheduling and administrative duties, the Senior Coordinator is expected to provide a high level of service to a specialized patient population, including corporate clients and Baylor leadership. 

Job Duties

  • Schedules patient appointments for office visits, surgeries, tests, or procedures.
  • Coordinates with external healthcare facilities to arrange surgical and procedural logistics.
  • Communicates pre-operative instructions and medical clearance requirements to patients.
  • Addresses patient financial questions related to surgeries or procedures, as needed.
  • Prepares and assembles patient medical records and insurance documentation.
  • Orders specialized equipment and supplies for procedures, including tissues and grafts. 
  • Coordinates across internal and external teams for seamless scheduling and pre-operative planning.
  • Maintains communication standards consistent with concierge-level care.
  • Assists with non-clinical navigation of the patient experience, including documentation prep and follow-up support.
  • Liaises with external vendors and facilities to ensure readiness of supplies and equipment.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Four years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Prior experience in concierge or executive-level healthcare settings is strongly preferred.
  • A strong ability to coordinate complex logistics, respond promptly to patient needs and maintain attention to detail. 
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, patient-facing environment where professionalism, discretion, and exceptional communication are essential.
