Salary Range:  $47,372 - $61,304
FLSA Status:  Nonexempt
Work Schedule:  Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Summary

Temple, TX - The Senior Coordinator, Curriculum should be proactive, with a desire to ensure that department goals and objectives are achieved along with possessing strong time management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate must demonstrate a high degree of flexibility in accepting work assignments with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks, understand processes, and resolve issues. This role requires strong problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to addressing concerns and the ability to anticipate the needs of the department to ensure effective management of priorities and deadlines.This role will require the following:   Professionalism, exceptional customer service skills, ability to work in a team environment, good oral and written communication skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.


This position is located in Temple, TX.

Job Duties

  • Provides administrative support for Undergraduate Medical Education (UME) or Graduate Medical Education (GME) course directors/program coordinators.
  • Oversees various system applications utilized in medical education, including Blackboard, MedHub, E*Value, and SuccessFactors.
  • Interacts with course/program directors to facilitate course/program objectives.
  • Performs critical tasks related to the annual review process in collaboration with course/program directors.
  • Ensures program, student, and department needs are met; resources are identified; and recommendations are implemented for improvements and enhancements.
  • Creates, implements, and maintains various system applications for all assigned courses/programs.
  • Serves as the administrator for one or more medical school subcommittees.
  • Coordinates the administrative functions of the department's medical education courses or fellowship and/or residency programs.
  • Coordinates annual appointments, credentialing, and the onboarding/off boarding processes for existing and new faculty, residents, and fellows.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Four years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for tracking and managing data efficiently.
  • Adaptable and open to training in various Learning Management Systems (LMS).
