Summary
Temple, TX - The Lead Coordinator, Program Management leads and manages the MD admissions process at Baylor College of Medicine’s Temple Campus, providing comprehensive administrative and programmatic support to ensure the efficient, accurate, and strategic execution of all admissions-related activities and serves as a central point of coordination for applicants, faculty, and institutional partners, upholding the college’s standards of excellence and commitment to student success.
This position may offer the flexibility of a hybrid work arrangement after an initial training period.
Job Duties
- Coordinates the day-to-day operations of the Admissions office to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Coordinates all Admissions department events, including planning, execution, and evaluation to enhance the overall
recruitment process. - Provides administrative support to the Associate Dean of Admissions (Temple Campus), including calendar management, meeting scheduling, document preparation, and updates to educational materials.
- Serves as the primary point of contact at the Temple Campus for applicants, providing guidance with interview logistics, and general admissions inquiries.
- Supports the Admissions Committee by preparing applicant files for review, tracking decisions, and coordinating faculty reviewer assignments. Monitoring, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and align with departmental goals.
- Maintains clear and consistent communication with all admissions stakeholders, including prospective students, faculty, and external partners, to ensure coordination and support throughout the admissions process.
- Collaborates with the Senior Manager of Admissions to prioritize projects and associated tasks, while organizing work groups and meetings focused on the MD program's objectives.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED.
- Six years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in education.
- Strong administrative experience with customer service.
