Work Schedule:  Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Summary

Temple, TX - Join a our team at Baylor College of Medicine - Temple, TX as a Coordinator, Program management supporting the Office of Faculty Affairs and Faculty Development. In this pivotal role, you'll be at the heart of an exciting expansion effort, helping to shape the future of medical education at our growing regional campus in Temple, Texas. You'll provide essential administrative and operational support, working closely with faculty leaders and staff to foster innovation, collaboration, and excellence in academic development. 

 

This position is located in Temple, TX and requires a daily onsight presence. However, after an initial training period the employee will have the option to work one day remotely from home.

Job Duties

• Assists with the day-to-day operations of the Office of Faculty Affairs/Faculty Development.
• Assists with generating, reviewing, distributing, tracking, and archiving faculty appointment letters.
• Assists with the creation and tracking of all Sponsored Guest Accounts and Success Factors accounts.
• Maintains a thorough working knowledge of college policies and procedures related to Faculty Affairs and related areas. Interprets and communicates BCM policy.
• Provides administrative support to faculty and staff to assure continuity of operations, to include faculty CV edits & development. 
• Oversees the preparation, filing, and maintenance of correspondence and other records. 
• Assists manager or head of the organizational unit in establishing and attaining goals and objectives.
• Makes copies, prints, scans, faxes, and distributes materials as needed. Interacts closely with faculty and departmental leadership on a daily basis.
• Assists with the coordination of the faculty development workshop series.
• Ensures and prepares reports for accreditation readiness. 
• Prepares faculty development, faculty career advancement and awards reports. 
• Adheres to the highest degree of professional standards and maintains a strict and high level of confidentiality in matters that require discretion. 
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Two years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in education. No experience required with Bachelor’s degree.
  • Four years of related experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience using SAP/SuccessFactors.
  • Possess the ability to provide friendly, responsive customer service to our faculty and institutional leaders.
