Summary
Baylor College of Medicine is seeking an experienced Clinical Operations Supervisor for the Baylor Medicine specialty clinics at the Sugar Land Campus. The Clinical Operations Supervisor will oversee day-to-day operations, managing staff performance, and implementing strategies to enhance patient care and clinic efficiency. The supervisor will also collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards, and work towards continuous improvement in service delivery.

Job Duties
- Oversees daily operations of the specialty clinics, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows.
- Responsible for reporting clinic metrics such as productivity and patient satisfaction to Department of Medicine and Department of Surgery leadership.
- Supervises professional, operational, and technical support staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Conducts regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff.
- Identifies areas for process improvement and implement strategies to enhance clinic efficiency and patient care.
- Collaborates with clinic staff to develop and execute process improvement programs.
- Leads workgroup for onboarding of new specialty clinics.
- Ensures all clinic operations comply with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Monitors and maintains high standards of patient care and service delivery.
- Addresses patient concerns and complaints promptly and effectively.
- Ensures a patient-centered approach in all clinic operations and interactions.
- Works closely with other departments and healthcare providers to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
- Facilitates effective communication within the clinic team and with external partners.
- Manages clinic resources, including supplies and equipment, to ensure they are used efficiently and effectively.
- Contributes to the implementation of measures to ensure compliance with policies around patient experience, patient access, clinical reporting, physician schedule utilization .
- Assigns and maintains staff schedules.
- Prepares decision support data and reports to guide management decisions in adjusting workflows to accomplish outcome goals
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED.
- Three years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Outpatient experience.
