Summary
Baylor College of Medicine-CHRISTUS Children’s in San Antonio is seeking a highly motivated and competent professional to serve as a Supervisor of Business Operations with primary responsibilities for managing day-to-day business operations for pediatric and women’s services specialties at CHRISTUS Children’s in San Antonio, TX under the direction of the Senior Manager. The successful candidate will have exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, be a great team player, have strong and proven organizational skills, experience in managing high-level business relationships. Prior experience in a healthcare, hospital, clinics or medical group setting preferred.

Job Duties
Operational Leadership
- Develops and prepares reports for the Senior Manager and Executive Director.
- Ensures the ongoing review and development of process improvements to maximize operating and business productivity.
- Manages daily operations of several divisions for multiple mission areas.
- Manages faculty recruitment and onboarding processes including submission of positions in SuccessFactors.
- Manages compiling and submission of faculty appointments and may assist with faculty promotions.
- Assists the Senior Manager in management of sponsored guest accounts setup.
People Management
- Supervises staff including defining work responsibilities and prioritization, setting performance and development plans, and conducting performance evaluations.
- Coaches, reviews, and delegates work to division staff.
Other duties
- Manages administrative space allocations and other facilities requirements or problems to ensure that work remains a top priority.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED.
- Four years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree (in related field of business administration, finance or healthcare administration)
- Supervisory experience
- Experience in an academic medicine, healthcare and/or hospital setting
- Experience with Concur, SuccessFactors, Epic, and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Outlook and Word
