The Margaret M. and Albert B. Alkek Department of Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine (BCM) seeks a highly skilled and compassionate Interventional Cardiologist to join its distinguished faculty and clinical team. The successful candidate will provide expert care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, performing advanced interventional procedures and contributing to the academic mission through teaching and research. This role's primarily practice location will be at CHI St. Luke's Sugarland. The Division of Cardiology at BCM is renowned for its comprehensive cardiovascular care and cutting-edge research, offering advanced treatments in heart failure, structural heart disease, electrophysiology, congenital heart conditions, and lipid disorders. The division consists of 64 faculty and 51 fellows, providing care across Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center (BSLMC), the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center, and Ben Taub Hospital. Faculty appointment with Baylor College of Medicine will be commensurate with the applicant's background and accomplishments.
Minimum Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
- Board certification in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology.
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Interventional Cardiology.
- Eligible for Texas medical licensure.
- Strong procedural skills and experience in both coronary and peripheral interventions.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork abilities.
