Summary
The division of Neonatology (Newborn) in the department of Pediatrics is seeking a Senior Manager, Business Operations. The Senior Manager plays a critical role in Division's success regarding daily operations, people management and budget governance in partnership with Pediatrics' affiliate partner Texas Children's Hospital. Job Duties
- Manages daily operations of Section, including HR and finance management for Research, Education and administrative mission areas.
- Manages a team of ~7 administrative staff, and 5 professional level employees led by managers (project manager, research, data team).
- Oversees pre-and-post award related projects for faculty members.
- Actively collaborates with Pediatrics leadership and affiliate partner TCH on staffing plans and faculty recruitment and business operations of the division.
- Serves as the BCM administrative leader for division business; works closely with the Division Chief.
- Monthly financial management and cost distribution analysis for multiple hospital sites (14+).
- Budget accountability for BCM expenses, including oversite of supplemental pay budgeting/submissions.
- Faculty recruitment and onboarding; oversite of credentialing at multiple hospital locations.
- Staff management for multiple teams and mission areas; including research and education.
- Active participation with TCH leadership partner for budgetary and staff needs.
- Human Resource management for staff development, on/off boarding and performance management.
- Works closely with the Division Chief to support the section in all BCM business matters and serves the faculty team under the Chief's direction, as identified.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- Five years of relevant experience.
