Job Title:  Senior Coordinator, Program Management
Division:  Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
Work Arrangement:  Onsite only
Location:  Houston, TX
Salary Range:  $57,320 - $67,435
FLSA Status:  Nonexempt
Work Schedule:  Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Summary

The Senior Coordinator, Program Management oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of undergraduate and graduate medical education programs for the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, driving program effectiveness, accreditation compliance, and stakeholder collaboration.
 
This position may require some after hours or weekend events as needed.

Job Duties

• Oversees program changes; developing plans, timelines and documents as part of the updates Develops educational goals for the department and carries out activities to achieve these goals.
• Serves as a liaison to ACGME and other related institutions, and ensures that program requirements are met.
• Develops and oversees the Residency/ Fellowship budget.
• Manages all graduate and undergraduate medical education programs for the department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
• Directs annual recruitment activities - Coordinates the trainee recruitment process and on boards new trainees
• Provides administrative support for the program director or other faculty, including maintaining calendars,scheduling meetings, ordering supplies, and preparing correspondence.
• Schedules or coordinates lectures, evaluations, meetings, rounds, exams, seminars, training rotations,electives or special electives, duty/call schedules, ceremonies, or events.
• Responsible for the accuracy of all trainee data entered into PEPT. Residents/Fellows PEPT reconciliation, validation, and update any changes to trainee assignments/funding sources in the PEPT (Professional Effort Planning and Tracking) software.
• Responsible to ensure all trainees follow concur guidelines. 
• Responsible for effort certification for all education related activity
• Provides administrative support for the program director or other faculty, including maintaining calendars, scheduling meetings, ordering supplies, and preparing correspondence.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Four years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • College Degree/and or Four years of GME experience.
