Summary
The Margaret M. and Albert B. Alkek Department of Medicine, Medicine/Pediatrics Residency Program at Baylor College of Medicine is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Coordinator, Program Management to join our team. This position offers a highly motivated professional to join our medicine education office. This position provides advanced administrative support for the combined Medicine/Pediatrics Residency Program. Working closely with the Program Director and Supervisor, some primary functions include coordinating Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME)/Graduate Medical Education (GME) requirements, interview season, orientation, graduation, data maintenance, Concur reimbursement and budget.
This position may offer the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule after an initial training period.
Job Duties
- Oversees and coordinates the day-to-day operations of the program.
- Coordinates interview season.
- Oversees trainee onboarding process.
- Coordinates a two week orientation, for incoming trainees, in collaboration with Pediatrics.
- Maintains all ACGME compliance and requirements, will assist with annual ADS update, milestone evaluations, and resident & faculty surveys. Will use MedHub for ACGME duty hour requirements.
- Ensures compliance. (Annual BCM and affiliate requirements)
- Coordinates Medicine/Pediatrics Grand Rounds.
- Data maintenance, includes: MedHub (demographics, evaluations, rotation schedules, and resident days-off. Coordinate several events (Holiday Party, Graduation, and more).
- Will process Concur reimbursements and Concur Travel requests.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED.
- Four years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Three years of experience in GME programs.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, be regarded as team players, and have strong and proven organizational skills.
