Summary

Dr. Feng Yang's lab, within the Department of Pathology and Immunology, is seeking a Research Technician I to assist in investigating the molecular mechanisms underlying therapy resistance in human cancers.

Job Duties

• Maintains cell cultures and mouse colonies. 
• Prepares samples and performs routine laboratory assays.
• Collects and records experimental data.
• Maintains accurate and detailed records of experiments, procedures, and findings. 
• Organizes lab supplies and prepares common lab reagents. 
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a Basic Science or related field. Two years of related experience may substitute for degree requirement.
• One year of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous hand-on experience in molecular and cellular biology and mouse models is desired.
