Summary
Dr. Feng Yang's lab, within the Department of Pathology and Immunology, is seeking a Research Technician I to assist in investigating the molecular mechanisms underlying therapy resistance in human cancers.
Job Duties
- Maintains cell cultures and mouse colonies.
- Prepares samples and performs routine laboratory assays.
- Collects and records experimental data.
- Maintains accurate and detailed records of experiments, procedures, and findings.
- Organizes lab supplies and prepares common lab reagents.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate's degree in a Basic Science or related field. Two years of related experience may substitute for degree requirement.
- One year of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous hand-on experience in molecular and cellular biology and mouse models is desired.
