Summary
Coordinates day to day activities of research protocols which include screening, enrollment, and monitoring of study participants. Ensures accurate data collection, documentation, organization and safety of research participants.
This is a part-time position, requiring 20 hours per week, with benefits included. You may occasionally need to work on a Saturday.
Job Duties
- Interviews, screen and recruits for study; explains process and procedures to educate study participant regarding the research study.
- Collects information from study participant; processes documents and enters information into a database.
- Maintains records and regulatory documents and records for research studies.
- Obtaining consent and assent from parents and children.
- Schedules study participant procedures specific for the research protocol.
- Follow up with families as needed for the study duration.
- Entering data for the study.
- Will correspond with study participant throughout study.
- Assisting the principal investigator with conducting the study.
- Communicating with study sponsor about the study when needed.
- Orders supplies and equipment.
- Performs other job duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED.
- Three years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field. No experience required with preferred degree.
- Ability to engage well with children/adolescents and their families.
- Flexibility in work schedule.
