Summary

This posting serves to identify an exceptional, creative, inspiring, and thought- provoking postdoctoral researcher to join a vibrant group of Molecular Biologists and Microbiologists charged with understanding the molecular basis of mutation and cell evolution. The applicant should be familiar with Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Mechanisms of Mutation (and related)and aim to develop a groundbreaking study that will propel them to their own independent position, and aspire to be a leader in their field. Strong analytical and writing skills are desired. There are multiple projects to choose from with a high-level of flexibility offered. Job Purpose

Postdoctoral Associates are trainees working in an apprenticeship mode in preparation for a career as a scientific professional

Job Responsibilties
  • Plans, directs and conducts specialized and advanced research experiments.
  • Evaluates and analyzes data.
  • May establish new research protocols and procedures.
  • Summarizes research findings and publish results in research journals.
  • May be responsible for laboratory operations.
  • May supervise research staff.
Minimum Qualifications

Education: Ph.D in Basic Science, Health Science, or a related field.
