Summary
The Neuromodulation Lab in the Department of Neurosurgery at Baylor College of Medicine is hiring a postdoctoral associate! Join our dynamic and growing team dedicated to advancing the understanding of brain and spine neuromodulation. Supported by NIH grant, our research focuses on spinal cord stimulation and deep brain stimulation. The Postdoctoral Associate will assist the PI and other research personnel to collect, compile, and analyze human data.
Job Duties
- Plans, directs and conducts research projects under the guidance of the PI.
- Communicates effectively with research team to describe planned projects, timelines, and purpose. The Postdoctoral Associate also communicates with all other research personnel to plan the timeline of tasks.
- Evaluates and analyzes data under the guidance from the PI and collaborating faculty, and discuss findings with lab members.
- Establishes new research protocols and procedures.
- Summarizes research findings and publish results in research journals.
Minimum Qualifications
- MD or Ph.D. in Basic Science, Health Science, or a related field.
- No experience required.

- Excellent communication skills and attention to details
- Willingness to work in a clinical research environment
