Summary
The Department of Pediatrics is seeking a Postdoctoral Associate. The applicant will develop methods to deconvolve RNA-seq data using references defined by scRNA-seq assays. The development will include cancer-type specific approaches, as well as AI approaches that train on scRNA-seq. They will also be charged with implementing follow up validation experiments.
Job Duties
- Designs and implements machine and deep learning programs.
- Develops algorithms to deconvolve RNA-seq data and compare them to AI-based methods.
- Performs follow up validation efforts on cell lines.
Minimum Qualifications
- MD or Ph.D. in Basic Science, Health Science, or a related field.
- No experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
- PhD in computational science
- Working knowledge of machine learning and deep learning
- 3 years of experience working on cancer challenges
