Summary
The Department of Pediatrics, Section of Allergy & Immunology, is currently seeking a Professor to lead its Asthma and Environmental Health Program.
Job Duties
- Provide safe, timely, effective, and efficient patient care at TCH Main Campus in the outpatient setting for allergy and asthma care.
- Provide clinical leadership to medical and nursing staff.
- Role model ethical and professional behavior with every interaction.
- Supervise and educate medical and nursing staff when appropriate in the care of allergy patients.
- Educate and supervise trainees including fellows, residents, medical students, and advanced practice practitioners.
- Lead the Center for Environmental Health in the Center for Human Immunobiology and Texas Children's Research Institute.
- Lead environmental health and asthma research program for clinical and translational research.
Minimum Qualifications
- MD/DO or equivalent
- Licensed by the Texas Medical Board
- Board certified/eligible in Allergy & Immunology
