Summary

The Department of Pediatrics, Section of Allergy & Immunology, is currently seeking a Professor to lead its Asthma and Environmental Health Program.

Job Duties

  • Provide safe, timely, effective, and efficient patient care at TCH Main Campus in the outpatient setting for allergy and asthma care.
  • Provide clinical leadership to medical and nursing staff.
  • Role model ethical and professional behavior with every interaction.
  • Supervise and educate medical and nursing staff when appropriate in the care of allergy patients.
  • Educate and supervise trainees including fellows, residents, medical students, and advanced practice practitioners.
  • Lead the Center for Environmental Health in the Center for Human Immunobiology and Texas Children's Research Institute.
  • Lead environmental health and asthma research program for clinical and translational research.

Minimum Qualifications

  • MD/DO or equivalent
  • Licensed by the Texas Medical Board
  • Board certified/eligible in Allergy & Immunology
