The Department of Neuroscience is currently seeking an Assistant Professor.

Job Duties

• Designs, performs, and analyzes behavioral experiments testing specific cognitive domains in mouse models of disease.
• Designs, performs, and analyzes biochemical and molecular biological experiments examining brain circuits in mouse models before and after pharmacological or surgical treatments.
• Designs, performs, and analyzes bioinformatics studies examining gene expression pathways in neurological disease.
• Trains junior lab members in specialized techniques sued for neurological disease research.
• Preparation and writing of manuscripts for publication in research journals, preparation of relevant materials for progress reports for grants.

Minimum Qualifications

Ph.D degree in a Basic Science or a related field
