Summary
The Lead Coordinator, Program Management provides advanced administrative support for the Department's education programs, includes both ACGME (Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education) and TMB (Texas Medical Board) accredited programs for Diagnostic Radiology Residency, Neuroradiology Fellowship, Breast Imaging Fellowship, and the new (in progress) Integrated Interventional Radiology Residency Programs.
The Department of Radiology at Baylor College of Medicine has Affiliate Partnerships where our faculty radiologists are focused on providing quality patient care, education and research at Harris Health Systems, CHI-Baylor St. Luke's, Texas Children's Hospital and Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center all located in the Texas Medical Center.
This position is located at Baylor College of Medicine's Main Campus in the Texas Medical Center.

Job Duties
• Coordinates and oversees the day-to-day operations of an education program.
• Monitors and maintains program operations to assure compliance with ACGME accreditation and American Board of Radiology certification requirements.
• Serves as a liaison for the education programs with internal and external entities.
• Conducts data collection and management for annual reports for multiple entities (e.g. ACGME, ACR, ABR, GME, RSNA, GME Track, etc.).
• Manages approval and reporting of trainee leave at five affiliated institutions.
• Monitors and manages trainee work hours for all radiology programs.
• Supports program leadership communications to other institutions and regulatory bodies regarding trainee competency development, trainee progress in the program, and alumni readiness for independent licensure/recommendation letters for medical staff appointments.
• Manages ACGME case logs for each resident.
• Coordinates and/or assists with trainee onboarding related activities.
• Schedules and coordinates meetings and events for program leaders, including graduation, annual PEC and biannual CCC.
• Collaborates with program leadership to identify and evaluate methods for improving workflow processes and efficiency. Implements improvement efforts, monitors process and progress, and provides feedback and commendations.
• Processes financial transactions for expenses related to the radiology education programs.
• May assist with program budget planning and monitoring.
• Provides administrative support to program leadership and trainees.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree; four years of relevant work experience accepted in lieu of degree.
- Two years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in MedHub and Microsoft Office tools (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Teams).
- Previous work experience in an academic medicine environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects at the same time and the ability to function well under deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to effectively respond to time-sensitive and confidential issues.
