Summary
Intern will receive training in synthetic organic chemistry related to the construction of DNA-Encoded Libraries (DELs). She/He will learn to synthesize a DEL which will be screened against several disease related targets of interst in cancer.
Job Purpose
Provides temporary administrative or laboratory support to a department while gaining practical work experience.
Job Duties
- Participates in weekly lab meetings and Center wide scientific meetings.
- Presents data and discusses challenges with her research and how he/she is working to overcome them.
- Makes detailed presentations to the group and writes clear and detailed SOPs for each of her experiments.
- Writes a publication related to internship.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Must be enrolled in high school or be a high school graduate (or equivalent secondary education) or enrolled in an institution of higher education.
