The Michael E. DeBakey Department of Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine is seeking exceptional candidates at the rank of associate professor or Professor to serve in our Division of Vascular Surgery and Endovascular Therapy as site Chief of Vascular Surgery at Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center, the cornerstone adult hospital affiliate of Baylor College of Medicine.

Ideal candidates will have completed an advanced fellowship in vascular surgery and have at least 5 years of clinical practice experience. The division has a robust clinical program that includes nine full-time faculty surgeons working across the Texas Medical Center and at Baylor-affiliated institutions including Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center, part of Common Spirit Health and the Texas Heart Institute, the Michael E. DeBakey Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Ben Taub Hospital, and Texas Children's Hospital. 

The successful candidate should exhibit a commitment to clinical excellence, research, innovation, teaching and collaborative practices. The candidate must have an established record of robust clinical experience and outcomes in both open and endovascular surgery, and should be committed to teaching vascular surgery residents and advanced fellows. The candidate must be certified by the Vascular Surgery Board of the American Board of Surgery and qualify for medical licensure in Texas.  Rank and tenure status are dependent upon qualifications.
