The Ray lab studies the neural circuits governing our behavior and physiology. The lab is seeking motived students to help with analysis of respiratory waveform data derived studies on neural control of breathing and neurological vulnerabilities in the infant congenital disorders such as the sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS). Students will be compensated for time training in waveform analysis and for following data analysis.

The Student Helper position is short-term, lasting no more than 3 months.

Job Purpose

Student Helpers provides services to a department on a temporary basis while gaining professional experience.

Job Duties

Students will undergo training in waveform data analysis techniques. Following training, students will annotate respiratory waveform data for quantification.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be a High School or College Student (undergraduate or graduate).
  • No experience is required.

Preferred Qualifications

Undergraduate college students.
