This position will short term and last a duration of three months or less. 


The Ray lab at Baylor College of Medicine has three immediate openings for a short term data analysis trial. The Ray lab studies the neural circuits governing our behavior and physiology. We are seeking motived students to help with analysis of respiratory waveform data derived studies on neural control of breathing and neurological vulnerabilities in the infant congenital disorders such as the sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS). Students will be compensated for time training in waveform analysis and for following data analysis.

Job Purpose

Student Helpers provides services to a department on a temporary basis while gaining professional experience.

Job Duties

  • Students will undergo training in waveform data analysis techniques.
  • Students will annotate respiratory waveform data for quantification.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be a High School or College Student (undergraduate or graduate).
  • No experience.
