Summary

The Baylor Teen Health Clinic currently provides pregnancy testing, family planning, sexually transmitted diseases (STD) and HIV/AIDS education and screening, primary healthcare, and case management services to teens, their partners, and adolescents in Harris County. The clinics provide services to teens from the age of 13-24.
 
Services We Provide:

  • Comprehensive Exams (Male & Female)
  • Gynecological services
  • Birth control and family planning
  • Sexually transmitted disease screening and treatment
  • Primary healthcare
  • Immunizations
  • HIV/AIDS education and screening

Job Purpose

Student Helpers provides services to a department on a temporary basis while gaining professional experience and to increase engagement with potential patients and community organizations to increase awareness of our clinic and our services.
 

Job Duties

•Research and implement how to increase engagement with clients, potential clients and community members and organizations.
•Collaborate via social media with health care and community resource organizations.
•Develop and post entertaining content for social media on a consistent manner.
          o  Graphics and captions
          o  Videos and captions (film videos)
•Develop and post Instagram Ads.
•Engage BTHC clinic staff in social media posts, as necessary.
•Develop and post educational content for social media with medical input.
•Develop and implement Instagram Highlights.
•Respond to Instagram DMs (answer basic questions and refer to other clinic staff as needed (for example, medical related questions).
•Work with us with our UH group each semester.
•Track social media analytics and adjust strategy in response.
•Notify BTHC leadership with any negative feedback and comments.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be a High School or College Student (undergraduate or graduate).
  • No Experience is Required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Extensive familiarity and use of the various social media platforms.
