Summary

Oversees and participates in the collection analysis and reporting of statistical data.  Applies standard statistical methods in conducting analyses and preparing reports.

This is a part-time position, working approximately 10 hours per week.

Job Duties
  • Data management including importing data, checking for importing errors, illogical values, duplicates, verifying presence and source of missing data, and building databases
  • Data documentation: build and update analysis data specifications (code book), file directories, and user instructions for running programs or utilizing a data set
  • Help develop standard operating procedures for data preparation, biostatistical methods, and programming best practices
  • Help develop Statistical Analysis Plans that document the analytical methods and assumptions used to answer a study's research questions
  • Conduct preliminary analyses including descriptive statistics, distributions, plots, and tabulating study findings
  • Conduct basic modelling techniques (e.g. general linear model) using standard modeling software
  • Conduct literature reviews related to projects or methodological advances in the field that would benefit our analytical methods
  • Assist with other duties according to the project's needs
Minimum Qualifications
  • Education Required: Bachelor's degree in Statistics, MIS, or related field.
  • Experience Required: Two years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Working knowledge in the Statistical Analysis Software and/or Mplus software
