Summary
The Office of Graphic Communications is offering a highly motivated and organized professional the opportunity to serve in a team-based printing and production center. Primary responsibilities include prompt and quality production of print projects. Our department develops and produces creative visual materials to support the missions of Baylor College of Medicine. We produce over 400 projects monthly and this position requires someone with the ability to multitask while managing assigned projects and delivering exceptional results.
Job Duties
- Produces creative materials for the use in production printing.
- Ensures coherence to print production schedules.
- Ensures projects are produced according to the specifications.
- Communicates effectively with team members.
- Reviews records and reports of activities to ensure progress is being accomplished toward specified program objectives; recommends modifications to methods of procedures as required to redirect activities and ensure that objectives are attained.
- Provides feedback to support staff in carrying out project objectives.
- Prepares recurring program reports for management use.
- Analyzes opportunities and makes recommendations.
- Participates in planning meetings of new projects.
- Conducts or participates in formal training or instruction.
- Interacts with faculty, staff and students to promote the goals and objectives of the project.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED.
- Four years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Prior experience in a printing center.
