Summary

The Pediatrics department is seeking a Senior Coordinator, Research Operations to coordinate the day-to-day research operations and financial processes for the department. This position monitors financial activity by compiling, reviewing, and reconciling financial accounts. The Senior Coordinator, Research Operations will review expenditures from fund sources to verify accuracy, need, and compliance. The position will also assist with preparation of grants and subcontracts submissions by gathering and submitting financial and research data and coordinate meetings, events, seminars, and other functions.

Job Duties

  • Assist with recruitment for the department, including being the primary contact person for faculty candidates, develop candidate's visit interview agenda and arranging logistics such as travel and lodging
  • Serve as content expert and trainer for new administrative assistants entering the Division
  • Coordinate activities for Division Quality and Safety (QS), including support for the QS Project Manager
  • Coordinate QS conferences.
  • Assist and coordinate meetings and daily operations for the CRO
  • Provide administrative coordination for the Pediatric Pharmacology Fellowship Training Pathway
  • Assist with preparation of grants for CRO and QS faculty and staff
  • Request vendor information from suppliers and obtain/process Purchase Order numbers for contracts and subcontracts
  • Review the accuracy of the vendor/supply payment and invoice
  • Provide financial and tracking of expenses on department account

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Four years of relevant experience.
