Title: Senior Coordinator, Program Management
Summary
The Surgery - Education department is hiring a Coordinator, Program Management to manage the following educational ACGME and TMB approved programs: Vascular Surgery Integrated, Vascular Surgery (Independent), Surgical Critical Care, Pediatric Surgery, and Abdominal Transplant Surgery. This position will also be responsible for maintaining ACGME (Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education) and TMB (Texas Medical Board) compliance for all programs. Responsibilities include managing MedHub onboarding, offboarding, evaluations, pay slot allocations, and rotation schedules and any other aspects as directed. They will lead program development and develop educational curriculum for its programs and manage recruitment for its programs in compliance with GME (Graduate Medical Education) and NRMP (National Resident Mapping Program).
This position offers the flexibility of a hybrid work arrangement. Three days in office and two days remote.
Job Duties
- Develops and schedules curriculum for its educational programs.
- Manages website and recruitment for its programs in compliance to NRMP and AAMC.
- Leads Annual Program Evaluation committee and Clinical Competency Committees meetings with program directors.
- Daily Communication regarding tasks with trainees in management of its programs.
- Develops and maintains program handbooks and guidebooks as applicable.
- Maintains MedHub in all aspects for its programs.
- Develops evaluation assessment of the program if needed.
- Develops educational programs with innovation in today's learning environment for advancement in educational training.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED.
- Four years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Expert level computer and communication skills.
- Highly efficient in communication and writing skills.
- Positive consumer skills.
- Organized and task driven with positive efficient delivery.
