The Pediatrics - Developmental department is hiring a Senior Coordinator, Program Management to provide professional administrative support. This position is responsible for solving straightforward problems for an education program, including undergraduate, graduate, residency, fellowship, clerkship, continuing medical education, or other College-affiliated education programs. Qualified candidates must be highly organized and have excellent communication and follow up skills and enjoy working as part of a team with administrative, clinical research and financial staff.

Job Duties

  • Provides technical academic advise to students.
  • Maintains a thorough working knowledge of curricula, practices and procedures.
  • Informs department of guidelines that need to be enforced or changed.
  • Counsels students on problems related to degree program, provides solutions to problems, offer alternatives, and makes requests to the appropriate office or faculty.
  • Maintains files on department students.
  • Provides back-up material and documentation on matters relating to students, courses and recruitment.
  • Provides administrative support to faculty.
  • Maintains and produces course materials, course schedules, students study cases on weekly basis, case evaluation; corrects course materials.
  • Organizes and implements program recruiting strategies by updating recruiting brochures and website, responding to admission inquires, and scheduling candidate interviews. Coordinates screening process; distributes files, attends planning and committee meetings. 
  • Coordinates, records and distributes evaluation comments.
  • Develops and administers a recruitment program that will increase the quality and number of applications to the department's program.
  • Informs students and faculty of deadlines for filing forms and registration materials related to student programs.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Four years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Suite, NEW INNOVATIONS, ACHME WebADS.
