The Pediatrics - Adolescent and Sports Medicine division is hiring a Senior Coordinator, Program management to be the primary coordinator for the HRSA, Maternal and Child Health Bureau-funded Leadership Education in Adolescent Health (LEAH) Training Grant and the Adolescent Medicine Fellowship. This position is the primary support of the GME office regarding trainee activities and entails a lot of responsibility such as coordinating administrative activities and serving as the primary point of contact for the GME (Graduate Medical Education) office training activities. Ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Job Duties

• Coordinates the LEAH administrative activities and works closely with LEAH faculty and the Senior Business Operations Associate
• Provides administrative support to the PD, Associate PD, Senior Business Operations Associate, and LEAH faculty regarding LEAH responsibilities
• Helps coordinate activities involved in data collection and entry for all annual LEAH reports
• Edits minutes of all LEAH faculty meetings
• Serves as a liaison with outside collaborating institutions from which trainees are recruited; help complete the annual report; and coordinate the LEAH academic activities by maintaining a thorough working knowledge of curricula, practices and procedures as well as assisting LEAH trainees with logistic issues
• Schedules or coordinates lectures, evaluations, meetings, seminars, training rotations, electives and events for all LEAH trainees
• Serves as primary point of contact for the GME office regarding training activities 
• Coordinates trainee recruitment
• Updates interview templates; schedule coordination; and provide recruitment/ERAS set up
• Coordinates onboarding new trainees.
• Manages verification of training and coordination of LEAH trainee evaluations from interdisciplinary faculty.
• Ensures compliance with departmental, institutional, ABP, AAMC and ACGME policies and procedures.
• Monitors affiliation agreements, assist with fellow requests as needed.
• Assists LEAH fellows and trainees in obtaining their stipends and assist with tuition payments and travel.
• Maintains fellow files.
• Coordinates with Senior Business Operations Associate on other Division duties as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Four years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work with autonomy as this position has a lot of responsibility.
