This individual will work collaboratively with team members from the Office of Institutional Diversity, Equity and Inclusion/Office of Student and Trainee Services, Office of the Provost, educational and administrative leaders at Baylor College of Medicine to fulfill key responsibilities including educational operational management for core accreditation processes, project and timeline management, procedure development and mapping, compliance monitoring, program support, policy review and collaboration with institutional compliance units to support accreditation requirements.

Job Purpose

Provides advanced administrative support for an education program, including undergraduate, graduate, residency, fellowship, clerkship, continuing medical education, or other College-affiliated education programs.

Job Duties

  • Provides advanced administrative support for the Office of Institutional Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
  • Assists with the day-to-day operations of the Office of Institutional Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
  • Oversees recruitment for OIDEI programs and events.
  • Monitors and audits program activities to ensure compliance with applicable accrediting agency.
  • Creates, monitors, and tracks documentation of training and educational activities.
  • Schedules or coordinates lectures, evaluations, meetings, rounds, seminars, ceremonies, or special events.
  • Provides administrative support for the director and associate directors; including maintaining calendars, scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and updating education materials.
  • May assist with program budget planning and monitoring.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Four years of relevant experience.
