Summary
This is a position within the Pediatric House Staff Residency Office providing administrative support to the Pediatric Residency Program. The Senior Coordinator will assist with the day-to-day operations with the Pediatric Residency Program. This position coordinates and provides oversight in trainee recruitment, trainee onboarding/orientation, and trainee graduation. Additionally, the position monitors compliance of all evaluations, online training modules, duty hours, supplemental payments, management of program letters of agreements, and all College mandates. This person should be a self-starter and have knowledge of ACGME/GME guidelines.
Job Duties
- Assists with day-to-day operations of one of the largest pediatric residency programs in the country.
- Oversees onboarding and graduation of residents, research symposium, and performs day-to-day problem solving for residents and chief residents.
- Excellent organizational skill and the ability to work independently, prioritizing assignments, establishing procedures and systems, and ensuring orderly and timely work flow.
- Assist with prepping and interviewing candidates during the recruitment season, setting up schedules with Applicants and Faculty, hosting TEAM interviews and collecting Faculty feedback after interview. And all other assignments that would facilitate the Interview process.
- Communicate with all departments to prep for onboarding and ensuring that the Interns have fulfilled all of the requirements of the GME department.
- Order departmental supplies and create/submit invoices via Jaggaer; utilize Concur for travel reimbursement; assist with budget review and financial processes.
- Update all annual requirements for ACGME/GME/Pedi-a-Link, etc.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED.
- Four years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft TEAMS.
- Above average Microsoft skills, Concur, MedHub, Jaggaer, and SuccessFactors.
