Work Schedule:  Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Summary

Pediatrics - We are seeking a Senior Coordinator, Program Management. This position provides professional administrative support for a medical education program and plays a key role in ensuring its smooth operation. The role involves managing day-to-day tasks and resolving routine issues across various educational tracks, including undergraduate, graduate, residency, fellowship, clerkship, continuing medical education, or other College-affiliated programs. 

Job Duties

  • Assists with the day-to-day operations of an education program.
  • Coordinates the trainee recruitment process and on boards new trainees. 
  • Serves as a liaison for the education program with Undergraduate Medical Education (UME), Graduate Medical Education (GME), the Graduate School for Biomedical Sciences/the School of Health Professions/Student Affairs, internal departments, applicable external agencies, or trainees. 
  • Schedules or coordinates lectures, evaluations, meetings, rounds, exams, seminars, training rotations, electives or special electives, duty/call schedules, ceremonies, or events. 
  • Creates, monitors, and tracks documentation of training and educational activities; may assist with grade or evaluation collection and submission. 
  • Provides administrative support for the Program Directors (Fellowship/Residency) or other faculty, including maintaining calendars, scheduling meetings, ordering supplies, and preparing correspondence. 
  • May manage multiple education programs.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Four years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to work under pressure with multiple and competing deadlines required.
  • Must be highly organized, with excellent communication and follow up skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, with administrative, clinical research, and financial staff. 
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, NEW INNOVATIONS, ACGME WebADS.
