Summary

The Senior Coordinator will provide administrative and functional support for the Office of Faculty Affairs and Faculty Development at Baylor College of Medicine in support of the expansion of regional campus in Temple, Texas.

 

This position will primarily work in Houston, Texas with some occasional travel to Temple, Texas.

 

This position has the opportunity to work from home partially as part of our hybrid remote/on-site work arrangement, which will be discussed by management.

Job Purpose

The Senior Coordinator will provide administrative support for the Office of Faculty Affairs and Faculty Development with program activities, career awards, faculty development workshops, reports, accreditation processes, grant pre/post award submission, and faculty orientation.


 

Job Duties

  • Ensures program activities to meet applicable accreditation requirements regarding faculty matters. Develops and prepares reports for grants, general appropriations, endowments, and other funds. Develops and maintains an integrated web platform for the Office of Faculty Affairs/Faculty Development.
  • Assists with pre-award related tasks in support of faculty members in the unit.
  • Provides support for training grant applications and renewals. 
  • Assists with program budget planning and monitoring. 
  • Coordinates the triage and reporting faculty complaints, exit interviews, ethics point reports.
  • Coordinates faculty grievance and appeals processes.
  • Performs administrative duties for the Faculty Appeals Committee.
  • Coordinates the faculty development workshop series.
  • Coordinates new faculty orientations Ensures and prepares reports for accreditation readiness.
  • Prepares faculty development, faculty career advancement and awards reports.
  • Assists with the day-to-day operations of the Office of Faculty Affairs/Faculty Development.
  • Assists with educational grant pre-award/post-award including submission, reporting and other relevant documents.
  • Assist with new faculty orientation Faculty development workshops Maintain Web platform for FAFD Assist with accreditation requirements Assist with faculty grievance and appeals processes.
     

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Four years of relevant experience.
