Title: Senior Coordinator, Executive Support
Summary
The Department of Neurology at Baylor College of Medicine is seeking a qualified and highly motivated candidate to provide executive-level support for the Neurology Chair at the McNair Campus. Duties include supporting the department Chair and serving as a member of the department administration and operations team. Successful candidates will demonstrate a high degree of flexibility in accepting work assignments with the ability to effectively prioritize, multi-task, understand processes, and resolve issues. In addition, they should have an ability to display a professional, positive attitude with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Job Duties
• Coordinates and supports the daily business and financial processes of the Chair’s Office.
• Prepares memos, general correspondence, and PowerPoint presentations on behalf of the Chair’s Office.
• Serves as the Department liaison for faculty recruitment including position submission, obtaining approvals, drafting Faculty Employment Agreements (FEA), amendments, pre-hire steps, and onboarding.
• Manages faculty reappointments and renewals.
• Processes personnel related transactions in SuccessFactors. Creates Sponsored Guest Accounts (SGA).
• May assist with credentialing and onboarding faculty and staff.
• Assists with travel logistics for conferences through Concur and coordinates timely reimbursement and reconciliation.
• Coordinates department meetings, events, retreats, and other functions.
• Schedules interviews on behalf of the executive team.
• May assist with formatting manuscripts, grant applications, website updates, and social media.
• Assists the Department Administrator with Special Projects.
• May review expenditures from fund sources to verify accuracy, need, and compliance.
• May provide additional support to department leadership as needed.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED.
- Four years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Strong technical skills in SuccessFactors and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and efficient with strong organizational skills.
