Job Duties

  • Provide support to faculty under the direction of center administrator.
  • Create shopping carts for supply ordering and Purchase Orders for vendors, and subawards.
  • Work directly with vendor and Baylor Finance Team on invoicing.
  • Submit reimbursements in Concur.
  • Maintain calendar, schedule meetings, and organize itineraries for visitors, escorting them to appointments.
  • Compose correspondence for both PIs and format presentations.
  • Maintain membership lists and other relevant webpages.
  • Provide support to DDC members by fielding inquiries and distributing announcements as needed.
  • Compile and maintain a variety of spreadsheets including member databases, publications, usage reports, and financial or grant activity.
  • Assist with the organization of weekly GI Research Forum, including virtual access and in-person set-up.
  • Help organize and manage logistics for annual scientific symposium.
  • Prepare agendas and meeting minutes for monthly and annual committee meetings.
  • Assist with annual pilot feasibility award program, including disseminating announcements and award disbursement and tracking.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Four years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with grant administration a plus
