The Dan L. Duncan Comprehensive Cancer Center, Office of Outreach & Health Disparities (OOHD) is seeking a Senior Coordinator, Business Operations. This position will provide support to the department by coordinating financial and business processes, processing personnel related transactions, and liaising with central departments. This individual must be task oriented and detailed for helping manage project invoices and vendor communications.

Job Duties

  • Coordinates the day-to-day business and financial processes for the department.
  • Schedules interviews on behalf of the hiring managers and supported faculty.
  • Monitors financial activity by compiling, reviewing, and reconciling financial accounts.
  • Reviews expenditures from fund sources to verify accuracy, need, and compliance.
  • May assist with keeping credentialing and appointment documents for faculty up to date.
  • May coordinate department meetings, events, retreats, and other functions.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned with regard to helping with print jobs and community outreach pamphlets and flyers.
  • Assists with vendor and independent contractor set up.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Four years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of operational, functional, and/or business systems and practices.
  • Experience routing of contracts.
  • Proficiency in Spanish Language.
  • Experience in SRM, SAP and Concur systems.
  • Good organization and decision making skills.
