Summary

The Department of Family and Community Medicine is seeking a Senior Coordinator, Business Operations, to support and assist the Human Resources mission of the Department. The selected candidate will facilitate management regarding HR, such as hiring, leave, day to day HR operations, performance evaluation, personnel files, terminations and exiting, workplace posters, and more. This position reports to the Department’s Administrator.

Job Duties

• Assists the Administrator and the Senior HR Operations Associate with ensuring the Department is compliant with College HR policies and procedures, including sending reminders and following up on time sensitive deadlines.
• Assists Senior HR Operations Associate with faculty recruiting tasks.
• Processes staff personnel related transactions in SuccessFactors which include promotions, equity increases, FTE changes, etc.
• Submits positions for staff for approval through the position management process.
• Manages and Oversees credentialing and recredentialing process and paperwork for Private Practice faculty and Community Health Program (CHP).
• Performs Departmental on/off-boarding processes, including preparing for the first day for the staff starting on site. 
• Works with the department affiliates with their HR needs, such as recruitment for staff positions, offers, and terminations.
• Monitors completion of staff evaluations and BCM compliance items.
• Assists in planning and conducting morale-building events.
• Recommends, develop, interpret, and clarify personnel procedures and policies.
• Submits and maintain Secured Guest Account Access.
• Supports Department with FMLA and ADA requests. 
• Maintains and update Kirby access card tracker and Key directory. 
• Maintains and update HR actions spreadsheet; hires, separations, leaves.
• Maintains distribution lists.
• Monitors malpractice insurance for practitioners.
• Maintains appropriate personnel files for the Department.
• Serves as a backup for Senior HR Operations Associate.
• May provide additional support as needed.
 

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Four years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • An Interest in Human Resources.
  • Intermediate MS Office experience.
  • Working knowledge of SAP or SuccessFactors.
