Job Title:  Senior Coordinator, Business Operations
Division:  Texas Heart Institute at BCM

Salary Range:  $57,320 - $67,435
FLSA Status:  Nonexempt
Work Schedule:  Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Summary

The Texas Heart Institute at Baylor College of Medicine is searching for a dynamic individual to support the Center's operations. This role will be exposed to a robust mix of business information systems and processes. Under the direction of the Center Administrator, the Senior Coordinator will process Human Resources transactions, financial transactions, procurement, and other tasks as needed.

 

In addition to these specific duties, the position will provide general office administrative support as part of the team of individuals in the Center administration office. Duties may include answering telephone calls, delivering mail, coordinating meetings and calendars, and supporting education events by securing catering. 

Job Duties

  • Processes transactions in SuccessFactors such as position management requests, terminations, and position changes.
  • Prepares budget templates, budget revisions, and other financial transactions in S4.
  • Manages postdoctoral appointment processes including appointment and reappointments.
  • Supports the education mission with Concur expenditures, travel requests, and event coordination.
  • Provides general administrative support to the Center Administrator and administrative office at-large.
  • Coordinates Center meetings, events, and other functions.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Four years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience using Concur and SuccessFactors or other HRIS software.
