Summary
The Center for Cell and Gene Therapy is seeking a highly organized and proactive Sr. Administrative Coordinator to provide essential support to faculty and staff within a academic medical environment. This position plays a key role in coordinating day-to-day operations and assisting managing the department. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, detail-orientated, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced setting and is committed to supporting clinical, educational, and operational excellence.
Hours are Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Job Duties
- Provides administrative support to faculty and coordinators schedules, to include maintaining calendars, scheduling meeting, finding meeting locations, creating agendas and taking notes, and creating documents.
- Arranges domestic and international travel using Concur and submit and track reimbursements for travel and other faculty-related expenses.
- Assists with faculty credentialing and renewals, licensing tracking, faculty CV formatting, and general office duties (e.g., phones, sanitation).
- Answers department main phone line, screen and route telephone calls, assist in maintaining contact list updates,assist with department mail and maintains division shared email inbox & calendar.
- May provide additional support to faculty as needed.
- Assists with office inventory and place orders for supplies, lab coats, and business cards.
- The role will be assisting the credentialing for 8 total members – 4 NP’s and 4 physicians. Once we have filled Dr. Kamble’s replacement position, they will also do that person’s credentialing. 30% of the time is performing this duty.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED.
- Four years of relevant experience.
