Work Schedule:  Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Summary

The Audio Visual division within the Office of Information Technology is seeking a highly motivated and skilled professional to join our team as a Senior Coordinator, Audio and Video Communications. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment, providing both administrative and technical support for Audio Visual (AV) technologies and services to faculty, staff, and students.

 

The successful candidate will have exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, be regarded as a team player, have strong and proven organizational skills, and have a personal drive to be their best. Experience working with Microsoft Office tools is a plus.

Job Duties

  • Provides technical guidance and consultation services to various BCM entities requesting input on audio-visual communication strategies and general system designs and/or installation services.
  • Enhances collaborative relationships with leadership, departments, and faculty who may be involved in or effected by the design and implementation of the various audio visual communication projects.
  • Operates audio-video equipment - both digital and analog, high-definition and standard definition, including, but not limited to:  projectors, computers, video cameras, lighting equipment, audio gear, and video conferencing software as needed to deliver successful audio-visual communication and presentation activities.
  • Operates remote, web-based lecture capture technology to include Teams video conferencing and audio conferencing. May be involved in the design and implementation of various audiovisual communication projects and technologies.
  • Manages remote control operation of all supported audio visual room systems.
  • Uses the Service Now AV Reservation System to review and assign requests to AV technicians in advance.
  • Inputs data to create reservations as needed; inputs data as needed for miscellaneous AV support requests.
  • Uses Outlook to review the M100 Boardroom calendar for events and cross reference with AV reservations.
  • Responds via Outlook to all client inquiries; forward to relevant parties or other IT sections as needed.
  • Tracks the office and storage AV inventory of equipment and order office supplies as needed.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Four years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Experience using Extron, Crestron and AMX equipment.
  • Successful experience in a client facing environment.
