Salary Range:  $70,618 - $83,080
FLSA Status:  Exempt
Work Schedule:  Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Summary

Supports daily operations, including intervention monitoring, of clinical research studies related to alternative treatments for stress- and trauma-related psychiatric conditions. Recruits, screens, enrolls, consents, and schedules study participants. Partners closely with study PI and interdisciplinary clinical team to follow study protocols and support positive patient outcomes, that may include interacting with study participant’s primary support people as well to provide psychoeducation and limited support.

Job Duties

  • Recruits, enrolls, pre-screens, consents, and schedules study participants presenting with a variety of stress- and trauma-related psychiatric concerns; including collecting mental health and medical release forms as defined by the study.
  • Assists with preparing participants and their primary support people for study engagement and is present for scheduled in-person sessions and virtual visits.
    Closely monitors participants during sessions, in collaboration with licensed and credentialed clinician, and provides individualized support requiring real-time judgement. 
  • Works collaboratively with PI, lead facilitator and psychiatrists to follow defined care and intervention plans and escalates issues in a timely and appropriate manner.
  • Collects and processes biological samples from participants.
  • Navigates participant-facing therapeutic work in parallel with research tasks, including physiological monitoring, vitals collection, or other protocol-defined biometric or environmental data capture.
  • Participates in safety documentation, data collection, and occasional qualitative or mixed-methods research activities as assigned.
  • Collects and reports adverse events in a timely manner.
  • Participates in scholarly activities as assigned, which may include data analysis, contribution to manuscript or grant preparation, scientific presentation, or related research tasks.
  • Prepares submission documents for internal and regulatory bodies.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Four years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in mental health related field.
  • Four years of relevant experience including experience in related alternative treatment studies.
