Title: Research Technician II
Summary
Dr. Jason Lee of Baylor College of Medicine (BCM) is seeking technician II to work on research projects and laboratory maintenance at Baylor College of Medicine, Department of Molecular and Cellular biology. Dr. Lee’s scientific research focus based on post-transcriptional regulation of gene expression through cytoplasmic organelles. Dr. Lee is seeking research technician willing to contribute to a vibrant and productive laboratory environment.

Job Duties
- Conducts research experiments.
- Collects, compiles and analyzes data.
- Conducts literature searches and summarizes information in an appropriate format for a particular study.
- Documents and interprets results of experiments and reports to principal investigators.
- Oversees the maintenance of lab equipment and environment.
- Maintains the lab that includes autoclaving, making buffer solutions, and cleaning glassware.
- Orders and organizes the reagents of the lab.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a Basic Science or related field. Four years of related experience may substitute for degree requirement.
- No experience required.
