Summary

Dr. Subhashree Pradhan from the Department of Molecular and Cellular Biology, is seeking a laboratory technician position. The technician be eager to gain hands-on experience in a research setting and is highly motivated to grow professionally. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to ongoing scientific projects while developing practical skills and advancing her career. The technician will be responsible for tracking and gathering data needed for senior members of the lab to conduct their experiments, prepare for exams, for Dr. Bert O'Malley's CoRegen cancer grant and it's approach that has the potential to more effectively treat multiple types of cancer–without toxicity, inflammation, or off-target effects.

Job Duties

• Cleans and organizes laboratory.
• Assists senior lab members ie (Faculty, Postdoc) in preparing their lab experiments.
• Prepares or conducts simple lab experiments.
• Tracks and gathers data needed for senior members of the lab to conduct their experiments, prepares for exams, for Dr. Bert O'Malley's CoRegen cancer grant and it's approach that has the potential to more effectively treat multiple types of cancer–without toxicity, inflammation, or off-target effects.
• Helps PI with other job related duties.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Basic Science or related field. Four years of related experience may substitute for degree requirement.
• No experience required.
