Summary
The Provenza Lab is looking for a motivated research technician to support data organization, collection, and analysis efforts to understand neural activity underlying symptoms of psychiatric disorders including depression and obsessive-compulsive disorder. Primary roles include assisting with data collection procedures, tracking patient compliance with at home data collection, and overall team organization (scheduling meetings, managing purchasing, etc). There will also be opportunities for engaging in clinical and scientific research that includes analyzing neural data synchronized with behavior to identify neural biomarkers of symptoms and clinical response after deep brain stimulation (DBS) for OCD and depression.
Job Duties
- Assists with data organization efforts
- Assists with electrophysiological data collection and analysis.
- Tracks participant data collection and works with clinical team to encourage compliance.
- Manages purchasing and other administrative duties.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a Basic Science or related field. Four years of related experience may substitute for degree requirement.
- No experience required.
