Job Duties
- Operates all the instrumentation needed for the projects (training will be provided as needed).
- Documents experimental procedures in precise details.
- Collects and compiles imaging and cell culture data.
- Prepares reagents and solutions, and performs experimental work as needed, including live cell experiments and cell culture (2D/3D).
- Troubleshoots problematic results.
- Collects and performs experiments using primary cells from animals.
- Manages a limited number of mouse colonies.
- Interacts and reports to the drug development team.
- Maintains core laboratory organization, monitors lab reagents and orders.
- Optimizes novel assays and protocols under the drug development team guidance.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a Basic Science or related field. Four years of related experience may substitute for degree requirement.
- No experience required.
