Research Coordinators are an integral commodity for clinical research. The position requires candidates with attention to detail, good judgment and the ability to multitask and maintain organization. They are primarily responsible for the complete management and monitoring of assigned clinical studies. They liaise with the PI's to ensure timelines, data compilation and compliance. 

Job Duties

  • Collects patient information; processes documents and enters information into a database.
  • Collects, processes, ships, and maintains paperwork for blood and/or biological specimens according to procedures outlined in study protocol.
  • Is responsible for maintaining records and regulatory documents and records for respective research studies. Ensures retrieval and submits test results to appropriate party. Provides correspondence to the patients as necessary. Establishing and managing IRB's.
  • Manages investigational drug accountability
  • Manges investigational site file Navigation of electronic data capture systems
  • Navigates of BRAIN
  • Has the ability to work with Advarra IRB and Western IRB
  • Has the ability to coordinate, manage and complete the required submissions, amendments and renewals to the IRB
  • Performs other job duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field. Four years of related experience may substitute for degree requirement.
  • One year of relevant experience.
