Job Purpose

Dr. Storch is looking for a Research Coordinator for Internet - delivered cognitive behavioral therapy (iCBT) for Anixety in Youth ASD research. Research Coordinator II will help in research to develop Internet- delivered cognitive behavioral therapy intervention which will provide free treatment, assist in providing study based clinical care, and complete the data collection requirements for program. Will draft reports and presentation on research, and assist in the enrollment of patients for study. Position will actively recruit 140 parent-child dyads as participants through community recruitment, advocacy organizations, and patient registries.

Job Duties
  • Actively interviews, screen and recruits parent-child dyads for study; explains process and procedures to educate participant regarding Internet-delivered cognitive behavioral therapy (iCBT) for Anxiety in Youth ASD. 
  • Position will screen patient, consent the participants, provide access to the material information into a database.
  • Manage patient flow, and participant reimbursements as necessary
  • Coordinate study activities that will be conducted remotely using videoconferencing, Online surveys, telephone, and email contact.
  • Will participate in quality assurance training for study interviews and training in qualitative and quantitative research procedures. 
  • Will be responsible for maintenance of the study treatment website, including content evaluation and improvement. 
  • May perform Venipuncture (blood draws), EKGs/ECG's and obtain vital signs on study participants.
  • May collect assessment data from patients at the baseline visit and subsequent visits as specified by the research protocol. Will submit test results to appropriate party.
  • Maintains records and regulatory documents and records for research studies.
  • Will be the primary point of contact for all study participates to schedule tests and procedures such as laboratory tests, x-rays, and other studies specific tests as necessary.  
  • Orders supplies and equipment.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field. Four years of related experience may substitute for degree requirement.
  • One year of relevant experience.
