The Section of Epidemiology and Population Sciences is seeking a research coordinator II, to coordinate day to day activities for the Respond Research Study. The coordinator will conduct all recruitment aspects of the study. They will send out baseline packets, consent participants, obtain saliva samples, obtain medical records and tumor blocks, track all data in the database, and conduct telephone calls to potential participants.

Job Purpose

Coordinates day to day activities of research protocols which include screening, enrollment, and monitoring of research participants. Ensures accurate data collection, documentation, organization and safety of research participants.

Job Duties
  • Prepare mail packets for study participants.
  • Upon consent contact research participants by phone and continue to provide additional research material for data collection. Coordinator will follow protocol procedures.
  • The study is labor intensive with many printing and mailings sent out weekly.
  • Will work in the database for tracking study participants, consent status, sample collection and medical record requests.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Education Required: Bachelor's degree in a related field. Four years of related experience may substitute for degree requirement.
  • Experience Required: One year of relevant experience.
  • Certification/Licenses/Registration: None Required.
