Summary

The Baylor College of Medicine, Margaret M. and Albert B. Alkek Department of Medicine , is currently seeking a Research Coordinator II. As the Research Coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting the Principal Investigator on supporting the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) study and other post award administrative duties as assigned.   

Job Duties

50% Project Manager/ Research Coordinator

  • Ensures accurate data collection, documentation, organization and safety of research participants.
  • Ensure compliance with all project protocol guidelines.
  • Assist with writing and maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of the manual of operations.
  • Assist PI with achieving and managing milestones for the study.
  • Assist PI with managing clinical trial site specific projects related to the feasibility phase of the study.


50% Research Administrative Associate

  • Prepare outgoing subcontracts and review incoming subcontracts.
  • May contribute to the preparation of budgets for grant quarterly/biannual/annual reporting purposes.
  • Prepare financial reports and track research mission financials for department leadership review for financial.
  • Performance of grants and contracts. 
  • Assist with arranging project related collaborative conferences.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field. Four years of related experience may substitute for degree requirement.
  • One year of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a related field.
