Title: Research Coordinator II - Medicine Cardiology
Summary
The Baylor College of Medicine, Margaret M. and Albert B. Alkek Department of Medicine , is currently seeking a Research Coordinator II. As the Research Coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting the Principal Investigator on supporting the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) study and other post award administrative duties as assigned.
Job Duties
50% Project Manager/ Research Coordinator
- Ensures accurate data collection, documentation, organization and safety of research participants.
- Ensure compliance with all project protocol guidelines.
- Assist with writing and maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of the manual of operations.
- Assist PI with achieving and managing milestones for the study.
- Assist PI with managing clinical trial site specific projects related to the feasibility phase of the study.
50% Research Administrative Associate
- Prepare outgoing subcontracts and review incoming subcontracts.
- May contribute to the preparation of budgets for grant quarterly/biannual/annual reporting purposes.
- Prepare financial reports and track research mission financials for department leadership review for financial.
- Performance of grants and contracts.
- Assist with arranging project related collaborative conferences.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field. Four years of related experience may substitute for degree requirement.
- One year of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a related field.
