Job Purpose

The part-time Research Coordinator I will coordinate day to day activities of research protocols, which may include screening, enrollment, data entry, and monitoring of research participants. Ensures accurate data collection, documentation, organization and safety of research participants.

Job Duties
  • Perform study-related duties per research protocol(s). This may include, but is not limited to recruiting subjects, obtaining informed consent, collecting subject data, developing and managing study databases and tracking systems, and maintaining study records.
  • Collects and reviews patient information; processes documents and enters information into a database. 
  • Responsible for data quality and creation of data file(s), entering data, coding, and scoring of questionnaires or outcome measures.
  • Schedules research participants for study visits such as diagnostic/outcomes assessments and other study-specific activities described in the research protocol.
  • May maintain records and regulatory documents for research studies.
  • May assist with the development, submission, and management of Institutional Review Board (IRB) protocols.
  • May assist the Principal Investigator (PI) and supervising research staff with other study-related duties, including the preparation of required documents for funding agencies, creation of data collection tools and materials, as well as conducting literature reviews.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Required: High school diploma or GED.
  • Required: Three years of relevant experience. 
  • None required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in a related field.
